Republicans and family members of Seán Keenan attended the 33rd anniversary commemoration at his memorial on Fahan Street in Derry's Bogside.

Participants included Martin Duffy, vice president of Republican Sinn Féin from Lurgan, Michael McGonigle, honorary vice president of Republican Sinn Féin, and Sean Scott, vice president of Republican Sinn Féin from Galway.

Nora, daughter of Seán Keenan, and Cyril Canning were present at the event.

Organizers read the Proclamation and laid wreaths at the memorial before Sean Scott delivered the main address.
