A County Antrim fragrance business has signed on as a new sponsor for the 2026 Armoy Road Races, backing the event's Open Race.

The Essence Vault, based in Randalstown, joined the sponsorship line-up for the first time. Company founder and managing director Connor Martin said the decision reflected a commitment to supporting the local community. He highlighted Northern Ireland's road racing tradition and said the firm was proud to help continue that legacy.

Last year's Open Race was won by Cork rider Mike Browne, with Michael Sweeney finishing second and Paul Jordan third. Armoy Motorcycle Road Racing Club chairman Gareth McAuley said the race historically brings speed and excitement for fans. With strong entries already confirmed, he said this year's meeting could be one of the best in the event's 17-year history.

McAuley said the event's longevity depended on volunteers and sponsors, many as passionate about the sport as the club itself. He thanked The Essence Vault for coming on board.

The Armoy Road Races are supported in part by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council. The event weekend also features the Bayview Hotel Race of Legends. VIP hospitality packages are available at £140 per person, and programme packages including a parking pass and event lanyard can be purchased through the club's website.
