The Armoy Road Races will feature an international entry list for its meeting on 24 and 25 July in County Antrim. Defending Bayview Hotel Race of Legends winner Mike Browne returns, alongside team-mate Richard Cooper, a multiple British champion with North West 200 podium finishes.

Isle of Man TT regular Conor Cummins is entered, along with fellow Manx riders Marcus Simpson and Joe Yeardsley, who claimed a maiden Supersport victory at the Southern 100 this year. The Irish challenge includes Skerries rider Michael Sweeney and Derek McGee, now with Burrows Engineering/RK Racing.

Reigning Armoy Man of the Meeting Paul Jordan also returns, having recently joined the 130mph Club at the Isle of Man TT and won Supertwin races at the Southern 100. Additional international competitors include Dominic Herbertson, Sam West and Nathan Harrison.

Clerk of the Course William Munnis said the club has registered over 40 newcomers and that some races are oversubscribed. To accommodate all riders, the organisers plan to run additional B races. Munnis expressed confidence that if Friday’s programme runs smoothly, Saturday’s schedule will follow naturally.

Trevor Kane, whose Bayview Hotel in Portballintrae is title sponsor of the feature race, stated that he has supported the event since its revival in 2009 and that the rider calibre this year matches previous high standards.

The meeting begins on Friday with practice and racing, ahead of a full programme on Saturday concluding with the Bayview Hotel Race of Legends. Spectator packages including parking and access to vantage points remain available.
