More than 100 people attended a business networking event in Ballymena on Friday morning.

The breakfast took place at the Adair Arms Hotel and brought together business representatives and political leaders including DUP leader Gavin Robinson MP and deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly MLA.

North Antrim DUP MLA Paul Frew, who hosted the event, said it was well attended with over 100 individuals and businesses represented.

A panel discussion featured business and industry figures from the Ballymena area to discuss economic challenges and opportunities.

Frew said the central message from businesses was the need for political leadership that supports business and the economy in North Antrim and across Northern Ireland.

He stated that only the DUP can offer a confident, sustainable plan for business and economic growth.

The event was held during the week of Ballymena's 400th anniversary celebrations, marking the town's founding in 1626.

Frew described the breakfast as successful and said it was an honour to bring businesses and political leaders together to discuss the future of business and industry in Ballymena and across the country.

The breakfast provided a forum for businesses to discuss priorities for investment, jobs, and economic growth with political representatives.
