Share Energy continues junior sponsorship at Larne Ladies Hockey Club
Larne Ladies Hockey Club has secured continued sponsorship from Share Energy, a locally-owned electricity supplier. The agreement covers the club's U11, U13 and U15 junior teams.
The sponsorship provides training tops for players across the three age groups. It ensures the young members have matching club gear for training sessions and match days.
Share Energy's support extends beyond the provision of kit. The company says it shares half of its profits with customers and supports community initiatives across Northern Ireland.
Players from the junior squads say the sponsorship has strengthened their sense of belonging at the club. U11 player Hannah Robinson said wearing the training top makes her feel like one of the club's first XI players. She noted she never attends training or matches without it.
U13 player Lilly Wilson said the support helps the team look and feel the part. U15 player Ella Johnston said walking onto the pitch with teammates in the same kit shows they are all together representing Larne.
Share Energy Community Champion Ailbhe McCusker said grassroots clubs give young people opportunities to be active, develop skills and learn from being part of a team. She said the company is proud to support the young players and wished the squads success for the season ahead.
