A 35-year-old man has been charged with three counts of common assault following his arrest in the Ballymena area on Saturday 30 May.

He is due to appear before Ballymena Magistrates' Court on Thursday 25 June.

The man was also bailed in relation to a number of alleged drugs offences while police continue their enquiries.

All charges remain subject to review by the Public Prosecution Service under standard procedure.

Police have not released further details on the alleged assaults or suspected drugs offences.
