Man Charged with Online Threats Against Ballymena Elected Representative
Police charged a 30-year-old man with offences related to threatening online messages sent to a local elected representative in Ballymena. The messages were reported on Friday 27 March.
The charges include improper use of a public electronic communications network and threatening or abusive behaviour.
He is scheduled to appear at Ballymena Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 2 April.
The Public Prosecution Service will review the charges as standard procedure.
