Laura Mullan, 20, from Elmwood Road in Derry, appeared before Magistrate’s Court in Derry on Monday charged with breaching her bail conditions.

The court heard that Mullan went to the Accident and Emergency Department at the hospital. She claimed she was at risk of suicide. She then told staff she would get a taxi and leave.

A doctor tried to convince her to stay. Mullan left without treatment. This action broke her bail requirement to follow all medical instructions.

The Magistrate’s Court in Derry re-admitted Mullan to bail at the hearing. She must return to the court on April 17.
