Ruairi McHugh, mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, attended the annual graduation ceremony of the Foyle School of Speech and Drama. The event took place in the Guildhall, Derry, on Tuesday.

McHugh posed for photos with Grade 8 pupils from the school. Teachers Blathnaid Biddle and Sandra Biddle joined the group.

Global Mercy Award winners from the school also appeared in photos at the graduation. McHugh and Sandra Biddle stood with the recipients.
