SAG Credit Union and Divisview Antigonish Credit Union have merged, combining two member-owned financial co-operatives.

The merger means Divisview Antigonish Credit Union members now become part of SAG Credit Union. They will have access to a wider range of services, improved digital tools, and the same staff.

Sheena Joyce, chief executive of SAG Credit Union, said the merger allows the combined organisation to offer competitive financial products and maintain community focus.

The former Divisview Antigonish Credit Union office will remain open with unchanged hours: Tuesday 5pm to 6.30pm and Friday 4pm to 7.30pm. The arrangement will be reviewed after six months based on usage.

The credit unions share an ethos of putting members first, encouraging saving, and providing responsible lending.
