Clogher Valley Credit Union opened at 55 Main Street in Clogher, occupying the former Ulster Bank building. The ribbon-cutting ceremony featured Brendan Jenkins, Chairman of the Irish League of Credit Unions, and Paddy McMeel, Chairperson of the credit union.

Jenkins described the opening as a sign of growth and resilience in the credit union sector. The event included the return of founding members Seamus McGirr and Phelim McKenna.

Manager Louise Park stated that the credit union provides accessible financial services as a member-owned entity. She noted it offers choice, trust, and personal service to strengthen the local sector.

Park added that the premises create a community space where people receive support. Paddy McMeel said the building represents financial stability and now serves local people through the credit union.

McMeel pointed out that the reopening keeps financial decisions local and reinvests in members and the community. The site offers savings accounts, personal loans, and an on-site ATM for cash access beyond counter hours.
