Clogher Valley Credit Union opened its new branch in the former Ulster Bank building on Clogher's main street. The site provides a restored financial service in the town centre.

The Ulster Bank branch had closed amid withdrawals from rural locations. Credit union staff refurbished the building to accommodate its growth.

Brendan Jenkins, chairman of the Irish League of Credit Unions, cut the ribbon at the opening. Paddy McMeel, local chair, attended the event.

McMeel stated the building represents financial stability in Clogher. He said reopening it as a credit union keeps financial decisions local and supports reinvestment in members and the community. He noted the event welcomed back founding members.

The branch includes an on-site ATM for cash withdrawals beyond counter hours.

Louise Park, manager at Clogher Valley Credit Union, said the facility delivers accessible financial services. She described it as a member-owned operation that offers choice, trust, and personal service to strengthen the local sector.
