Galgorm Collection hosted a complimentary Pirates and Mermaids Family Fun Day for employees and their families at the Galgorm Resort's Great Hall on Sunday 13 September 2026.

Activities included a treasure hunt, bouncy castles, face painting, a barbecue, sweet treats, and appearances by pirate and mermaid characters.

The event was organised to thank staff, with the company stating it employs more than 1,400 people across its venues. It provided an opportunity for colleagues to spend time with their families and with each other outside of work.

Laura Millar, People & Development Associate Director at Galgorm Collection, said the fun day was a chance to bring colleagues and their families together and thank them for their support throughout the year, especially after a busy summer.

Millar noted that many relatives work within the group, and the event helped strengthen those connections and reflect the family culture of the business.
