Lisnaskea parish plans international barbecue to bring community together
A free International Welcome BBQ will be held at St Ronan’s Parish Centre in Lisnaskea on Saturday 18 July, starting at 7pm. Organised by Aghalurcher Parish, the event is open to all nationalities and aims to celebrate the diversity of people living across the parish and the wider Fermanagh area.
The evening will feature food, refreshments and live music in a relaxed setting. The parish has stated that everyone is welcome, and it hopes many nationalities from within the parish will be represented.
The event is designed to strengthen community ties by giving people from different cultures and backgrounds a chance to meet, share experiences and build new friendships. Families, newcomers and long-established residents are all encouraged to attend.
Admission is free, but those planning to attend are asked to contact the parish office in advance or register after one of the weekend Masses to assist with catering.
