Stuart McCloskey extends Ulster contract until 2028
Stuart McCloskey has signed a one-year contract extension with Ulster, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2027/28 season.
The 33-year-old centre, a native of Bangor in County Down, has made 217 appearances for the province. He was named in the Six Nations team of the tournament this year after helping Ireland win the Triple Crown.
McCloskey helped Ulster reach the European Challenge Cup final but missed the match due to a hamstring injury sustained in the semi-final against Exeter Chiefs. Ulster lost the final 59-26 to Montpellier in Bilbao.
In a statement, McCloskey said he believes the team is developing well and proved its competitiveness by reaching the European final. He noted the emergence of strong young talent and the boost from international exposure. He said he is enjoying his rugby and feels motivated to achieve more for both Ulster and Ireland.
