Bangor confirmed two new signings this week as manager Lee Feeney prepares his squad for a second consecutive season in the Irish League Premiership.

Steven McCullough, a 31-year-old left-sided defender, has joined from Portadown for an undisclosed fee. McCullough has made over 400 senior appearances, starting his career at Glentoran and later playing more than 250 games for Ballymena United before moving to Portadown in May 2024. He requested a transfer at the end of last season due to personal circumstances and a wish to be closer to home.

Lucas McRoberts, a 19-year-old striker, arrives from Scottish Championship side Ayr United on a free transfer after his contract expired. McRoberts scored twice in 18 senior outings for Ayr and had loan spells with Bonnyrigg Rovers and East Stirlingshire, netting 15 goals in 40 Lowland League appearances.

Departing the Clandeboye Park club are Kyle Owens and Ben Walker, who have joined Championship side Dundela after their contracts expired. Midfielder Stephen Fallon, who spent the second half of last season on loan from Coleraine, has signed permanently for Ballymena United.

Bangor begin their pre-season schedule with a friendly away to Knockbreda at Breda Park on Saturday at 2pm.
