The Gillygooly Road on the outskirts of Omagh is shut after a serious traffic collision.

Emergency services are at the scene and the road is expected to remain closed for the foreseeable future.

The closure stretches between the Botera Road junction and the Coolkeeragh Road junction.

Police have asked drivers to avoid the area and seek alternative routes. Further updates will be issued when possible.
