Tourism NI Increases August Féile Funding by 13 Per Cent
Tourism Northern Ireland has increased its funding for August Féile 2026 by 13 per cent.
The festival, organised by Féile an Phobail, will run from 24 July to 9 August and will feature more than 600 events at 50 venues across west Belfast and the wider city.
Economy Minister Dr Caoimhe Archibald said the funding recognises the festival's role in driving tourism and economic activity, and will encourage visitors to extend their stays and explore other parts of Northern Ireland.
August Féile is one of 16 events supported through the International Tourism Events Fund 2026-27.
Tourism Northern Ireland has also launched a Business Resilience Programme that will give tourism businesses access to a financial expert for a health check and three hours of mentoring.
A summer marketing campaign will run across the island of Ireland in June to promote short breaks and days out, supported by over 100 industry offers.
The campaign is expected to deliver 6.3 million impacts and 20 million digital impressions.
Businesses can also access guides on reducing waste, water and energy costs, and webinars on managing finances and taxes.
