Lough Erne Resort in County Fermanagh will host a one-day Christmas in July event on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Santa will be present at the resort's Library, which will be decorated for Christmas, and children can meet him and share their wishes. The event includes an overnight stay for a family of two adults and one child, with prices starting at £499. Guests will have a three-course dinner at Loughside Grill and a lakeside breakfast the next morning. They can also use the infinity pool or walk the resort's grounds. The event marks the launch of the resort's Christmas 2026 packages, available for booking now. These include the Santa Sleepover and the two-night Christmas Escape, which features a Christmas Day lunch at Catalina Restaurant. Resort General Manager Gareth Byrne said Santa was taking a summer break and the event would give children a surprise. He noted many guests plan Christmas breaks during summer for better availability and value.
