Community groups across Northern Ireland can now apply for grants of up to £5,000 in the second round of Belfast Harbour's 2026 Community Awards.

The scheme, launched in 2021, has supported over 150 projects to date. This year, a total of £110,000 is available through the awards programme.

Funding is open to projects that strengthen communities, support the environment, develop skills and employability, or create opportunities for local people.

The second round opens after 15 organisations shared £50,000 in the first round of 2026. Previous recipients have included sports clubs, community gardens, disability initiatives, and arts and theatre programmes for young people.

The Community Awards form part of Belfast Harbour's wider Community Fund Programme, which is investing £350,000 in community and charity initiatives during 2026.
