Emmet Potter from Carrickmore died in a single-vehicle collision involving a van on Derrycourtney Road in the Caledon area of Co Tyrone. The crash occurred on Saturday evening, April 25. Emergency services attended the scene, where Potter was pronounced dead.

Police have arrested one person in connection with the incident. That individual remains in custody while the Collision Investigation Unit continues enquiries.

Officers appealed for witnesses or anyone with digital footage from the area to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 1706 25/04/26.

The crash took place shortly after 11pm.
