A court in Enniskillen has ordered a case involving the death of Daniel Lavelle to proceed to crown court. Lavelle, a father of five from the Donagh area, died when his car collided with a lorry on Crom Road on September 26, 2024.

Niall Connelly, 49, from Clonshaugh Heights in Dublin, faces a charge of causing death by dangerous driving.

At Enniskillen Magistrates Court, a prosecuting lawyer stated the case will go forward on indictment. District Judge Barney McElhome set a committal hearing for March 31, when Connelly is due to be sent for trial.
