Aghagallon man remanded over fatal crash
A 34-year-old man appeared at Craigavon Magistrates Court on Friday via video link from Maghaberry Prison, charged in connection with a fatal road traffic collision in Aghagallon.
Mark Branagan, of Whitehall Road, Aghagallon, is accused of causing death by careless driving, driving without a licence, driving without insurance, and being an unaccompanied learner driver.
The charges relate to a crash on Lurgan Road, Aghagallon, on October 23, in which Pauline Downing died.
Branagan's barrister, Peter Coiley, told the court that the case had been listed for a bail application, but his client was no longer in a position to proceed with that application.
Coiley sought a four-week remand and said if there is a change regarding bail he will bring the matter back before the court.
District Judge Anne Marshall adjourned the case until November 27.
