Two Die in Motorcycle and Car Collision Near Upper Ballinderry
Two drivers died at the scene of a collision between a motorcycle and a car in Upper Ballinderry, County Antrim. Police received a report of the incident on Glenavy Road shortly before 18:00 BST on Saturday.
Officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland attended alongside Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service personnel. One other person received hospital treatment for injuries.
PSNI Detective Inspector Dave Stewart from the Collision Investigation Unit stated that the road closed temporarily between Soldierstown Road and Hammonds Road junctions but has reopened.
Police continue enquiries into the crash. They request witnesses or those with digital footage to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference 1142 of 25/06/26.
