A 38-year-old man faces multiple charges after a single-vehicle collision in the Derrycourtney Road area of Caledon that killed Emmet Potter from Carrickmore. The crash occurred on Saturday, April 25, and involved a van. Potter was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 11pm.

The man, arrested at the scene, has been charged with dangerous driving causing death, driving while unfit through drink or drugs, and driving while disqualified. He is scheduled to appear at Dungannon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, April 29.

Police state that the Public Prosecution Service will review all charges as standard procedure.
