A 21-year-old man from Clonmeen Drive in Derry appeared at a preliminary enquiry in the local magistrate's court on Monday.

Daniel Patrick Lynch faces charges of possessing Class B drugs with intent to supply on September 5, 2023. He is also charged with simple possession of Class B drugs on that date.

Additional charges include being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs between June 1, 2022, and September 5, 2023. He faces counts of possessing criminal property, specifically cash, and transferring criminal property over the same period.

The court accepted there was a case to answer. Lynch declined to call witnesses or make a statement.

He was returned for trial at Derry Crown Court on May 18 and released on bail.
