A man and a woman will stand trial at Derry Crown Court on charges related to Class A drugs. The man faces charges of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs from January 1, 2024, to January 7, 2025. He also faces charges on January 7, 2025, of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply and simple possession of Class A drugs. The woman faces a charge of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs on January 1, 2024.

The pair received anonymity due to the charges' nature. Both appeared at a hearing on Wednesday. The court accepted there was a case to answer. Neither made statements nor called witnesses. They were returned for trial on May 13.

In a separate case, Dean Clark, 30, of Haywood Avenue in Belfast, appeared at Derry Magistrates Court on Wednesday. He faces a charge of fighting and committing affray on December 24, 2025. The court accepted a case to answer. Clark declined to make a statement or call witnesses. He was returned in custody for trial at Derry Crown Court on May 13.
