Tommy Wright, former Northern Ireland international and current Northern Ireland U21 manager, conducted the draw for the 2026 Budget Energy SuperCupNI at Theatre at The Mill in Newtownabbey. The event brought together the boys' and girls' sections for the first time. More than 150 guests attended, including club representatives, partners and media.

The 43rd edition of the tournament takes place from 26 July to 31 July 2026. It features 60 teams from Europe, North America, Asia and other regions, plus teams from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

In the boys' premier section, Manchester United joins County Antrim, Intercontinental FA and Rangers in one group. Southampton faces County Londonderry, Iconz FC and Tigres UANL. Sunderland appears with County Armagh, County Fermanagh and Kamimura Gakuen.

The boys' junior section includes Celtic with County Tyrone, County Antrim and Blackburn Rovers. Leeds United meets County Down, County Armagh and Helsingor FC. Tottenham Hotspur takes on County Londonderry, Chicago City and Plymouth Argyle. West Ham United faces County Fermanagh, St Patrick’s Athletic and Charlton Athletic.

Cliftonville in the boys' minor section plays Maiden City, Ross County and Al Jazira FC. Blackburn Rovers meets Linfield, Newell FC and Surf Select. Helsingør FC faces Rosario YFC, Ballymena United and Atlas FC.

Liverpool debuts in the girls' premier section against Manchester United, IL Heming and Desert Empire. Shamrock Rovers meets Aston Villa, Northern Ireland and Chicago City.

In the girls' junior section, Manchester United faces Glentoran, Linfield and Kilmarnook. Surf Select plays Chicago City, Crusaders and Cliftonville.

Sam Gamble, tournament coordinator, stated the draw creates match-ups between major clubs and local talent. He noted the joint draw as a historic step and thanked Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council for hosting.

Sean O’Loughlin, managing director at Budget Energy, said the line-up highlights the tournament's global status and benefits for local players. Councillor Leah Kirkpatrick, mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, welcomed guests to the event. Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Councillor Oliver McMullan attended the launch.
