Bangor and Glenavon finished with a 0-0 scoreline at Clandeboye Park in Bangor on Saturday afternoon. The match took place under windy conditions.

Bangor secured their league position earlier. Glenavon sit at the bottom of the table after this result and Crusaders' win over Portadown. Two games remain for Glenavon.

Bangor manager Lee Feeney made one change to his lineup from the previous draw against Crusaders. Mick Morgan started in place of injured Lewis Harrison.

Glenavon's Charlie Lindsay missed an early shot. Nathaniel Ferris tested Bangor keeper Gareth Deane, who made a strong save from Ferris's header off Peter Campbell's corner.

Bangor created chances through Iestyn Hughes and Stephen McGuinness from the wings. Glenavon keeper Jacob Carney cleared both threats.

After half-time, Tiarnan Mulvenna lifted a shot over Carney following a pass from Hughes. Ben Cushnie shot straight at Carney.

Late in the game, Glenavon's corners led to scrambles. Barney McKeown headed toward goal, but Jay Boyd blocked it on the line. Campbell's free kick went to Deane. McGuinness blocked Connor Falls's close-range effort.

Debutant Joshua Ritchie shot high for Bangor. Campbell's stoppage-time free kick was held by Deane.
