Clocks across Fermanagh will go back by one hour in the early hours of Sunday, October 25.

At 2am, the time will change to 1am, marking the end of British Summer Time and a return to Greenwich Mean Time. The change gives residents an extra hour in bed but also brings darker evenings.

People in Enniskillen and surrounding areas will notice the sun setting earlier. Students, commuters and others travelling after dark should plan routes and stay visible.

The clock change is also a reminder to check the time on ovens, cars and other devices that do not update automatically.

British Summer Time will begin again on Sunday, March 28, 2027, when clocks spring forward. They will go back again on Sunday, October 31, 2027.
