The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service has asked protesters planning fuel price demonstrations not to block emergency vehicles. A spokesperson stated the safety of staff and patients is the priority. NIAS confirmed awareness of protests at multiple locations on Tuesday, April 14. The service aims to maintain health and social care as much as possible and will notify users of any disruptions.

Protests are scheduled at Larne, Westlink, Lisburn, Nutts Corner, Mallusk, Ballygawley, and Omagh, starting at 2pm. Social media posts call for HGV drivers, farmers, and others to join a day of action to halt traffic. Police in Northern Ireland are monitoring these plans. A PSNI spokesperson said preparations are underway to protect public safety and limit community disruption.

A separate protest is set for Enniskillen on East Bridge Street from 4pm on Friday. PSNI noted awareness of social media promotions for events today and next week. An Enniskillen veterans' roadshow has been postponed due to expected disruption, particularly at Ballygawley Roundabout. An organiser prioritised attendance and safe travel for veterans and support groups, planning to reschedule.
