Motorcycle safety skills session in Omagh raises funds for air ambulance
Motorcyclists took part in a low-speed handling skills session in Omagh, with proceeds going to Air Ambulance Northern Ireland.
The event was organised by the BikeSafe team and included free motorcycle safety checks delivered by Fermanagh & Omagh Policing and Community Safety Partnership and CMG Motorcycles Ltd. Funding for the charity collection came via Johnsons Coffee.
Instructors from Moto Training NI, who also supported a BikeSafe workshop in Ballymena, assisted at the Omagh skills day. The Ballymena workshop was backed by AbbeyAutoline and Moto Training NI.
Motorfest NI, an annual charity motor festival hosted by the Community Rescue Service, was also noted among the BikeSafe team’s recent road safety engagements.
Reservations for future BikeSafe workshops can be made through the team’s online booking portal.
