Reinstatement works for the listed railway bridge in Castlerock will take place over three nights on April 17, 18 and 19. The operations occur between 11pm and 6am within the train station platforms and on the public road for lifting activities.

Traffic diversions will be in place around the level crossing during the works. Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council announced the schedule and noted apologies for any inconvenience caused.

The council directed queries or written representations to Aidan McPeake, Director of Environmental Services, at Council Offices, Riada House, Charles Street, Ballymoney BT53 6DZ, by April 17, 2026.

The current bridge will stay in place for some time after April 19.
