Council Plans Road Closure for Castlerock Charity Event
Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council received an application from Nutt Promotions and Travel Ltd to hold a Castlerock Charity Event and Fun Day on The Promenade in Castlerock. The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026.
The council intends to issue an order under Article 8A of and Schedule 3A to the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997. This will prohibit all traffic on the road from 09:30 to 16:00 to allow safe operation of the event.
Local diversions will operate where required and will be signed. A copy of the application is available for inspection at Riada House, 14 Charles Street, Ballymoney, BT53 6DZ.
Individuals may submit written representations to the Licensing Section of the Environmental Services Department, Health and Built Environment, at the Ballymoney address or by email to environmentalhealth@causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk. Representations must arrive by 17:00 on March 25, 2026.
