Temperatures will stay near or slightly above average overall. Colder periods remain possible, particularly in the north, with wintry showers over hills.
BBC Weather predicts snow possible over hills at the start of April. High pressure may build from the southwest, leading to drier conditions in the south.
Atlantic systems could deliver wetter, windier weather to northern areas, including Northern Ireland. A cold front might introduce chillier north-easterly or north-westerly winds with showers in exposed spots.
