Archive photographs from 2006 show a range of Halloween costumes worn by people in Derry and surrounding areas. The images, taken by Derry Journal photographers, capture groups and individuals dressed for the occasion.

One photograph shows a group from Donegal dressed as characters from The Wizard of Oz. Another image features people from Newtowncunningham in superhero outfits.

Other costumes documented include a punk rocker with a Martian and a Flintstones character, and a child in a cat costume accompanied by a person in a Catwoman outfit.

The photographs are part of the Derry Journal archive and were taken in 2006.
