Cullybackey hosts Fourth of July festival with tribute acts and classic cars
A Fourth of July community festival brought American-themed entertainment to Cullybackey College on Saturday, July 4, offering free admission to an afternoon of live music, vehicles and family activities.
Organised by Cullybackey Community Partnership, the event ran from 1pm until 6pm and featured a programme of tribute performances celebrating some of the biggest names in American music.
Trisha McCluney performed as Shania Twain, Luke Combs NI delivered a country set, The Garth Brooks Show took to the stage and Taylor NI closed the musical line-up with a Taylor Swift tribute. The Cullybackey Line Dancers also entertained the crowd.
Beyond the stage, children enjoyed face painting and games, while a donut eating competition added a competitive element to the afternoon. A display of American cars and motorbikes attracted enthusiasts throughout the festival.
A craft fair and food vendors were on site, and a free shuttle bus service connected visitors to Arthur Cottage, the nearby heritage attraction.
The partnership received support from several organisations and funding partners. Organisers encouraged families from Ballymena and across Mid and East Antrim to attend.
