Man with 135 convictions remanded over bail breach in Derry
A 31-year-old man appeared before Derry Magistrates' Court charged with breaching bail conditions.
Jordan Hazlett of Ebrington Oaks in Derry faced the charge relating to an incident on May 31.
Police attended the train station after an incident and encountered Hazlett, who was described as clearly intoxicated.
Hazlett refused a preliminary breath test and was arrested for breaching bail.
His defence counsel noted that Hazlett has an alcohol issue and stated the belief that Hazlett had been the victim of an assault at the time of the police attendance.
District Judge Suzanne Rice said Hazlett had previously received clear warnings about bail conditions.
The judge cited a risk of reoffending and remanded Hazlett in custody to appear again on June 25.
