Omagh drama teacher Lindsey Bell dies suddenly at 46
Lindsey Bell, a drama teacher at Drumragh Integrated College in Omagh, died suddenly at Craigavon Area Hospital on Saturday, 30 May.
Bell was originally from Aughnacloy. She taught at the college for 22 years.
Principal Imelda Kirk said Bell had shown consistent commitment to drama teaching and supporting pupils to reach their potential.
Kirk said the college will provide support from the Education Authority Critical Incident Team for affected students and staff.
Stephen Donnelly, a town councillor and former pupil, said Bell had taught in the original Drumragh building and encouraged creativity among young people.
Donnelly said Bell remained engaged with the school in later years as a governor.
A spokesperson for Hazel Wand Theatre School said Bell had regularly attended their productions and supported local arts events over many years.
