Carrickmore community mourns sudden death of care worker Jason Loughran
Jason Loughran, a 31-year-old care worker from Mullaslin in Carrickmore, died at his home on Tuesday following a three-month trip to Thailand.
His funeral will take place on Friday at St Colmcille’s Church in Carrickmore.
Fr Peter McAnenly, parish priest of Termonmaguirc, said Mr Loughran was known for his kindness and his work with older people in care homes in the Omagh area, including Three Rivers and Springlawn.
James Warnock, principal of Dean Maguirc College, said the school community was deeply saddened by the death of the former pupil, whom he described as quiet and well-mannered.
