A 20-year-old man from Glenburn Park in Magherafelt appeared in court on charges related to indecent photographs of children. Kacper Mrozinski faces accusations of possessing a prohibited image of a child under section 62(2) of the Coroners and Justice Act 2009. The charges also include making an indecent photograph or pseudo-photograph of a child and possessing indecent photographs of children.

The alleged offences took place on February 12, 2024. Mrozinski attended Magherafelt court accompanied by his parents. His defence solicitor requested time to review case papers due to the seriousness of the charges.

The solicitor noted that Mrozinski lives and works in Poland but has demonstrated he will return for hearings. District Judge Conor Heaney granted the adjournment. The case is set for May 20, with Mrozinski directed to attend court on that date.
