The Sea Bangor festival will take place on May 23 and 24 along Quay Street and Seacliff Road in Bangor. Organisers plan maritime-themed activities, food trucks, an outdoor bar run by The Rabbit Rooms and stalls from local producers.

Road closures and diversions will create a pedestrianised layout. Attractions include an urban beach, funfair rides, pedal boats, rowing competitions, model boat displays and street theatre performers. South Eastern Regional College chefs will host a demonstration kitchen using local produce.

Water activities and a roller disco are scheduled, with advance tickets required. A quiet hour from 11am to noon on both days targets people with disabilities, those who are neurodiverse and their carers. This period offers reduced noise, limited capacity and first-come, first-served entry.

Mayor of Ards and North Down Gillian McCollum welcomed the plans. She commended the quiet hour as a step toward inclusive events for all attendees.
