Tyrone Man Charged with Attempted Sexual Assault on Police Officer in Cookstown
John Hugh McCullough, 36, from Davagh Road in Omagh, faces charges of attempting to touch a police constable in a sexual manner without her consent. The alleged incident occurred on February 21 in Cookstown.
McCullough also faces charges of disorderly behaviour and assault on police at James Street in Cookstown on the same date.
He confirmed to the court that he understood the charges.
A police officer told the court she could connect McCullough to the charges.
District Judge Francis Rafferty granted McCullough personal bail of £200. He must appear in court again on April 17.
Bail conditions prohibit McCullough from being under the influence of alcohol in public places. He must submit to a breath test if requested by police.
