A 27-year-old Larne man has been cleared of a charge of going equipped for theft.

James McCambridge, of Edward Avenue, had denied the offence which was alleged to have occurred on March 24 this year.

The case was heard at Ballymena Magistrates' Court where McCambridge pleaded not guilty.

Following the hearing, he was found not guilty and the charge was dismissed.
