Sean McCauley, 34, from Rockmills in Derry, appeared in court on charges of disorderly behaviour, indecent behaviour, jaywalking, threats to kill, threats to damage a car, and assault.

The charges relate to alleged offences committed on March 1. A police officer told the court he could connect McCauley to each charge.

No bail application was made because of a problem with the defendant's address. The judge remanded McCauley in custody.

The case will return to court on March 11.
