Fermanagh Primary Schools Urged to Register for ESB Science Blast
Primary schools in Fermanagh can register Key Stage 2 pupils for the ESB Science Blast, a free STEM programme.
The scheme involves classroom investigations on forces and motion, biodiversity, materials and environmental science.
Participating schools present projects at a showcase in Belfast at ICC Belfast on May 5.
The programme comes from the Royal Dublin Society Science and Technology Programme with ESB as sponsor.
More than 90,000 pupils have joined since 2010.
Paul Kelly, chief executive of the Royal Dublin Society, stated the programme sparks curiosity in young people and builds critical thinking skills.
Paddy Hayes, chief executive of ESB, said it empowers students to explore questions about the world and engage with STEM.
Marble Arch Caves in Fermanagh will exhibit this year.
Registration closes March 20 at www.esbscienceblast.com.
