Michael Moore, 29, of Loughview Meadows in Omagh, appeared at Omagh Magistrates Court for a preliminary enquiry. The hearing related to a road crash on the Omagh Road in Garvaghey on December 27, 2021.

Moore faces charges of causing the deaths of Petey McNamee, Nathan Corrigan and Peter Finnegan by careless driving. Prosecutors also charge him with drink-driving at the time of the collision.

No facts of the case were presented in court. A Public Prosecution Service representative stated there was a case to answer. Moore made no reply to the charges and did not give evidence.

District Judge Conor Heaney granted Moore bail of £500. He must appear for arraignment at Dungannon Crown Court on May 12.

In 2023, lorry driver Donatas Timinskas, 36, from Dublin, faced charges over the same deaths. The Public Prosecution Service dropped those charges against Timinskas last September.
