Courts: Pipe bomb attacker jailed as murder and fatal crash cases progress
ANTRIM: A 41-year-old Ballymena man accused of attempting to inflict grievous bodily harm and dangerous driving during an alleged family feud has been returned for trial at Antrim Crown Court, with arraignment scheduled for next month.
BANBRIDGE: A 20-year-old Katesbridge man charged with causing the death of an 18-year-old passenger in a road crash on the Tanvalley Road, as well as dangerous driving and driving without insurance, has been returned to Newry Crown Court for arraignment on 16 April, and freed on bail of £350.
BELFAST: A 38-year-old Londonderry man was sentenced to eight years - half in custody and half on licence - at Laganside Crown Court after being found guilty of three counts of possessing pipe bombs with intent to endanger life, following explosions at residential addresses in the Waterside area between 2017 and 2019.
