Larne electrician banned from driving after being detected at 95mph
A 30-year-old electrician from Larne has been disqualified from driving for two weeks after being detected travelling at 95mph. Karl Stephen Blair, of Ballyrickard Road, was detected on February 11 this year. He appeared at Antrim Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, where District Judge Nigel Broderick imposed the ban and a £200 fine. Blair had a clear record prior to this offence. The judge said there had to be a deterrence to others not to do such speeds.
