A 38-year-old man has been charged with multiple driving offences following a police pursuit through parts of Belfast on Monday.

The man faces charges including dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, driving without insurance, fraudulent use of a registration mark, and several counts of failing to stop and report collisions causing injury or damage.

He is scheduled to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, 21 July.

The pursuit began when officers spotted a suspicious vehicle in the Broadway area of west Belfast. It continued across various areas of west and north Belfast, ending after several vehicles were damaged.

Damage occurred on the Westlink, Crumlin Road, and Ballysillan Road during the incident.

A second man, aged 40, was also arrested in connection with the investigation. He has been released on bail while further inquiries are made.

The Public Prosecution Service will review all charges, as is standard procedure.
